TWA Flight Center at Kennedy International Airport in New York opened in 1962, the airline installed a Vulcain clock under a fluted light fixture in the center of the concourse. The iconic clock in the TWA terminal at JFK airport, an architectural masterpiece of 1960 design by Eero Saarinen. The building was eventually turned into the TWA Hotel, where the clock remains.
