Z R C 1904
The Zuccolo Rochet Company was founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 1904 as a partnership between Edmond Zuccolo and Joseph Rochet. In 1917 the company wins the Geneva Grand Prix for Industry Innovation category for the creation of their expandable metal bracelets. The first ZRC Grands Fonds 300m diver watch was developed in 1953. In 1964 La Marine National (French Navy) granted it’s official approval of the Grands Fonds 300m. In 2004, Patrick Brunet, grandson of Joseph Rochet set out to revitalize ZRC. In 2015, 50 years after the first Grands Fonds 300, Georges and Charles Brunet, great-grandsons of Joseph Rochet reissue this iconic model, the ZRC GF 300 is reborn. Now, in 2019, it is a diving watch par excellence with great diving legibility provided by its super luminous oversized magnum hands, lollipop style sweep seconds, crown at 6:00 left threads protected by the CPS© (Crown Protection System), ETA 2824-2 movement, domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal and unidirectional notched bezel with ECS (Easy Cleaning System). In line with the current trends, the new case size is slightly increased from 36 mm to 40.5 mm. The unique stainless steel bracelet is fitted with a clever spring integration feature, a convenient system to wear a Grands Fonds over the sleeve of a wetsuit without an expansion link or any adjustment. With its original industrial style and neovintage design, the new Grands Fonds 300 pays homage to its heritage and represents the perfect diver watch.
